2. The content
The Continuous Monitoring Masterclass teaches you in a simple and structured manner how you can set up an integrated monitoring facility that adequately meets the administrative needs of your value streams or your processes. The business case and the architectural principles and models of the monitor facility are discussed, after which the different monitor forms of the monitor layer model are discussed. This training is part of the Continuous Everything series of training courses that ITMG provides.
After the Masterclass you will know how to design a monitor facility. Following the Continuous Monitoring masterclass, you have the opportunity to take an exam.
The training also includes the Continuous Monitoring Assessment, which can be used to identify specific topics that require more attention in your own environment.
This training is part of the Continuous Everything series of training courses that dbmetrics provides.
3. Your profile
Are you directly or indirectly involved in the following processes:
Your DevOps engineers, Dev engineers, Ops engineers, or other employees in IT would like to further professionalize themselves in the field of monitoring. To this end we need a personal approach. To this end, this training offers a broad spectrum of options to go through the entire lifecycle of the monitor facility from need, architecture, design and management of the monitor facility.
Development process improvement trajectory:
You have already introduced DevOps and your colleagues have already obtained a number of certificates. However, there are aspects of the system development process that have not been properly developed, which means that productivity is not optimal. Using the monitor requirement checklist, you can determine which aspects of the monitor facility have not yet been fully developed and you can make a selection of the best practices that will lead to an improvement of the monitor facility.
You are working with another party and want to know to what level the risks of service provision are guaranteed by the monitoring facility, ergo where are the gaps, should they be closed and if so how… In your SLA you have made agreements about the quality standards to be achieved such as availability, performance and security and perhaps even in the format of an XLA. Now you want to know whether the standards are being met and defects are being repaired. You can determine this based on the monitor layer model and the monitor CE assessment. It is important that you have at least basic knowledge of IT.
